New Features in CMS – Explore the new features that have been added to CMS since our last user conference. This fast-paced session is designed to show new features you might not be aware of or taking advantage of, features like our new application for work requests.

Work Orders – Watch us unveil and dig into our newly designed Work Order screen and see the differences in workflow and customizability. 

Procedures and PM Scheduling – To help schedule PMs efficiently, this session has been moved from the breakout sessions to the main room.  

Customer Spotlight 1 – Join Ross Brown, from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center: Learn how this customer utilizes CMS View and Custom Reporting to track Vendors performing work in their facilities. 

CMS Rounding/Requestor– Perform your EOC, Safety, and Security Rounds using the new CMS Rounds program. See how you can customize questions and answers, and create work orders and emails immediately after the field work has been completed. 

Customer Spotlight 2 - See how Jim Lindberg, from Select Medical prepares for and goes through a regulatory inspection.  Learn what the inspectors were looking for and how they provided the necessary information. Inspection readiness: how to prepare for, participate, and respond to a regulatory inspection. This customer will share their inspection experience.

Tracking and Analyzing Productivity: Gaining Efficiency in your Work Force – The title says it all! See how you can use CMS to capture the information you need to track productivity, then use the reporting tools to analyze the information to make informed decisions.

Breakout Session 1

Emails and Notifications from CMS – Learn to set-up custom email reports to appear in your inbox on a set schedule. Notify your end-users when work has been submitted and/or completed, and define what information has been sent.  Use CMS Tech's alerts to notify your field team crew in the field of a new work order.

CMS Tech in the Field - Learn some best practices for using CMS Tech to quickly complete Work Orders in the Field. Whether it’s getting to your important service calls or completing all of those emergency lights, you’ll find out how to configure CMS to make your mobile workforce more efficient.

 CMS 101 – Part 1 session introduces the beginner track and includes an overview of navigating CMS, opening and closing work orders in CMS and CMS Tech, capturing time and materials, and searching for work orders.

Clinical Engineering Roundtable – Join our guest speaker, Dr. Marc Petre, from Cleveland Clinic and FSI's own Clinical Engineering team member to discuss anything and everything to ensure you are using CMS to its fullest potential for your biomed department. 

CMS View – Learn how to transform your CAD and PDF floorplans into an interactive work order, learn about the asset tool and how you can locate and interact with assets.  Learn how to create work orders from a drawing instead of a list. 

CMS 201 – Part 2 of our beginner track includes setting up dropdowns and requirements for work orders and assets, creating and scheduling assets, creating procedures and readings, and using the filing cabinet. 

Breakout Session 3

Regulatory Compliance with TJC/DNV – Customize your compliance dashboard with current regulations from any sources, including The Joint Commission and DNV, to capture and track information and ensure compliance on a city, county, state, and national level.

CMS Apps - Dig in deeper to CMS Rounding to learn how to use this new application on a smartphone or tablet to effectively and efficiently perform electronic rounds at your facility. Also, see how to set up the new CMS Requester app so a work order can be entered via a mobile device instead of a PC.  Also, check out the latest app for submitting work requests from a mobile device.  Equip your facility with this app so they can submit request without returning to a PC.

 CMS 301 – Part 3, the final part of our beginner track, shows you how to create custom user-defined fields, set up basic material inventory, manage users and permissions, and change other administration options that affect what users can and cannot have access to.
